Frans Bakker (1948)
  Frans Bakker graduated in taxation at the University of Amsterdam (1972) and at Michigan University (1973). After having worked in private practice, he joined the Royal Dutch Shell Group in 1978, where he served in various financial consulting and management positions. He joined Rodamco NV in 1990 where his responsibility was for worldwide taxation matters and later also for Group treasury and information technology. Frans was director of Rodamco Asia NV from 2000 to 2004. He is currently partner of Freeland Group and managing partner of Freeland Partners.



    Martijn Burghout (1951)
  Martijn Burghout graduated in monetary economy from Erasmus University in Rotterdam (1980). He started his career as a civil servant with the government in the Hague where his last position was that of member of the management team of the Rijksgebouwendienst (Ministry of Housing and Construction). In 1985 he joined Jones Lang Wootton as head property management where he was appointed director and partner in 1989. In 1994 he started to work for Robeco Group in Rotterdam where he was responsible for the floating of Rodamco Retail Nederland NV and became a board member, as of 2000 in the function of CEO. After the merger of Rodamco Retail with Rodamco Europe he set up a joint venture in 2002 with Freeland Group to investigate the possibilities of starting a new asset management business. Martijn is now partner of Freeland Group with special responsibility for ShoppingParks, a property investment fund, of which he is a director.
